Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student as well as the flautist piano for 3 years. She survived on a student allowance and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox as she was studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was not happy about her performances compared to that of the other students. She began considering different options. Lennox was a flute player in the band Dragons Playground in 1976. The group did not get to compete in the talent contest New Faces on I.T.V. The singer was the primary vocalist for The Tourists a British pop group from 1977 until 1980. In this band, she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed the duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her first solo album Diva that was out in 1992. It was an enormous achievement as well as sales and critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera is a collection of four improvised tracks for piano, which Lennox released in May, 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to the art installation she created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you Go... Annie Lennox born December 25 1954, is an Scottish politician, philanthropist and singer-songwriter. The Tourists were a new-wave band that achieved some success in the late 1970s. In the following years, Lennox was joined by fellow singer-songwriter Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox launched her own solo career when she released her debut album Diva in 1992. The album was the inspiration of several hit songs, including"Why" and "Walking in Broken Glass. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. It features cover versions of songs like The No MoreI love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six solo studio albums, plus one compilation album to her credit.
