Josie Davis

Josie Davis was born in Hollywood, California. She is an actress and writer. Davis began her acting career as a child actress in television commercials. When she was a young girl Davis became a regular presenter on Charles In Charge. It was the top-rated show in syndication. Josie received three nominations and was awarded the prestigious Young In Film Award for playing Sarah Powell. Davis was a prominent actress in many television films as an adult. She won Lifetime Movie Network Awards for her performance. Davis trained with Paul E Richards intensively for more than twenty years, in spite of her ability to enroll in USC's highly acclaimed Writing Program. Davis was 24, and at the age of 24, auditioned before the biggest stars of Hollywood, Shelley Winters and Mark Rydell and Martin Landau. With just one performance, Davis was admitted to the renowned Actors Studio as a member with privileges to work, and later became a Lifetime member with a single phone call. Davis was only one out of two actors admitted into the Studio that year.
